We all have different memories of the year.
It is likely to be a particular event organised by their Unit, District,
Division or County. I enjoyed sharing some of these with you; Thinking Day, St George’s
Day, Craft and Christingle, Presentations of Awards.
Our County Annual review meal was in Scunthorpe and we celebrated 30 years since the
opening of the Oak’s camp site with a Hog Roast and entertainment from Market Rasen
Band. There have been activity days for Guides and Brownies (Oakey’s World Tour) and
several water and walking activities.
Training and support has been given to Leaders through general training, First Response,
Safe Space, Geocaching training and Welcome to Guiding. Singing Circle has continued to
meet each month.
The ‘Front Page’ of the new County Website was launched and we are working on the
Members Area.
A big ‘Thank You’ to all the County Team and Leaders, in particular thank you to Ann
Lynn for her support as County President and welcome to Peggy Gregory who has taken
on this role.
