Simultaneous Heat Pump The 91,580 square foot
Jenks, OK learning center includes ten modern math classrooms, fourteen flexible science teaching studios, a student
health center, a 200-seat multi-purpose meeting room and
a 105-seat planetarium. The Center is Oklahoma’s first K-12
facility to earn LEED Gold Certification.
This new Langley, BC school holds up to 510 students. It
includes high-performance building envelopes to improve
energy efficiency and reduce operating costs, adhering to
LEED Gold or equivalent standards. The Province has
committed $13.8 million to the project.

Heat Pump Moore, OK school built in August 2014 after
Kennedy School located in Norfolk, MA consists of a new
96,000 square foot building for 585 students in grades
Pre-K and 3 through 6. This $ 34.9 M project has been
verified by the Collaborative for High Performance Schools
(MA-CHPS).

Eight of the 26 classrooms are safe rooms, with reinforced
CMU walls and FEMA rated doors. The walls of the 65,000
square foot building can withstand winds of up to 250 mph.

Sharon Middle School
Water Cooled Located on the Honolulu, HI campus, this
K-12 school renovated the Performing Arts Complex. The
auditorium sits 900 and is one of the finest facilities in the
state for the teaching and performing of music, dance and
drama. The original complex was constructed in 1985 with
an extension built on to the auditorium.
Packaged Air Cooled The Sharon, MA renovation of
this existing 102,000 sq. ft. building included the construction of a 70 sq. ft. addition. The $47 M renovation included
science classrooms/labs, kitchen, cafeteria, server areas
and accessibility and M/E/P upgrades. The new addition
featured a new main entrance, library and classrooms.

addition was the first phase of an overall campus master
plan in Pleasant Plains, IL. The addition includes a combined
cafeteria/auditorium, kitchen, stage, green room/theater
classroom, computer classroom, fitness center, lobby, and
an expansion of the existing student parking lot.
school is very sustainable and matches the school district’s
desire for self-sufficiency with the use of ground-loop heat
exchangers. A touch screen at the entrance to the school
allows students and visitors to check the building’s energy
performance throughout the day.
