McChord Field: 253-982-3125/2695
Welcome!
Welcome to Joint Base Lewis-McChord,
Washington, one of 12 new joint bases created by
the Base Closure and Realignment Commission.
JBLM is a training and mobilization center for
all services and its key geographic location
provides rapid deployment access from deep
water ports and McChord Field. Although
the Army and Air Force missions have changed
over the years, one thing hasn’t changed:
the natural setting of the base. Mount Rainier looms to the East, Puget Sound and the Pacific Ocean await you to the West, and Tacoma,
Olympia and Seattle offer entertainment and
cultural events that celebrate Northwest life.
Welcome & enjoy your time here at JBLM!
