“Making the
Best Better”
National 4-H Week! October 2-8: Every year, National 4-H Week is celebrated
during the second week of October. Across the country, club members are
encouraged to help other youth learn about the opportunities that 4-H provides
for young people. Please consider making posters to display at your school, or
in the community and tell others about 4-H. In addition, perform a community
service project or think of an even better way to promote 4-H. Do not forget to
thank your club leaders as they invest many hours to help you “make the best
better” in your own 4-H work and efforts.
Yard and Craft Sale: Saturday, Oct. 22, from 8 a.m.
to 1 p.m. Tables are for rent at $10 each. Clubs
can have a table for free. Proceeds benefit the
county 4-H program. Call Karen Callahan for more
information (410 310-8934.) She is in need of help
with set up, Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. Let her
know if you can help please.
