Permanent or Portable?
• A loose-lay (portable) vinyl floor is rolled out and the seams are either
covered with tape or temporarily secured to the sub-floor on the
underside with double-sided tape.
• A permanent vinyl floor is glued down with adhesive and can’t be
removed without risking damage to the floor.
