EXPERIENCED TRAINING

at Turf City Sports Center.
Players can improve their skills and take their game to the next level
under the supervision of First Shot Soccer with Bobby Calderon.
Bobby, a professional player from Costa Rica has trained the Ramapo
Youth Soccer Association teams for over 20 years, including State Cup
Finalists and National Tournament Champions. Bobby’s outstanding
reputation is well established throughout Northern Counties, based on
his lifetime of competitive play combined with his decades of training
and coaching experience.
Bobby sets high standards with an expectation of hard work and
commitment. Even his youngest players are easily recognized for their
high skill level, game strategies and sportsmanship.
Professional trainers and experienced staff work in small groups, then
join players each day in a competitive scrimmage. Bobby and his staff
demonstrate and participate, teaching the art of soccer and share their
passionate love of the game.
First Shot Soccer staff:
Jim Loudon played college soccer at Davis & Elkins College, West
Virginia and holds an advance regional coaching diploma from the
National Soccer Coaches Association. Jim is currently the varsity head
coach of Indian Hills H.S. Girls Soccer. He has won two N.J. State,
Group 2, Championship’s 2002/2003.
Dan Kilday played college soccer at Plymouth State College. Dan is
currently the head coach of Wayne Valley H.S. Boys Soccer. His team
won the Passaic County Championship back to back for 2006 and 2007
fall season.
Coach Sly a former player with the Nigeria U17 National team. He is
currently coaching at Passaic County Community College and also at
Paterson Catholic H.S.
Daisy Calderon played college soccer at NJIT. She was the goal
keeping MVP for 2000 & 2001 in Saves per Game for NCAA Division
II Woman’s Soccer.
Angela Tallucci played college soccer at Pace University and has been
training with Bobby for the past 3 years.
Jorge Chapoy played college soccer at East Stroudsburg University.
He was named First Team All-American and scored 73 goals for them
in four years. Jorge is currently playing in the Champions League for
VISTULA FC.
Michael Calderon is currently playing in the NJSL Premier US
Division for WILDCATS FC and has been training with Bobby for the
past 10 years. He is also currently the assistant varsity coach of Indian
Hills H.S. Boys Soccer.

Goalkeepers Programs
The goalkeepers program headed by Komy Tabassi covers all aspects of this
unique position. Komy has been actively involved in soccer as a player,
coach and camp administrator for over 15 years. This program covers all
four dimensions of goalkeeping: technical, tactical, physical and mental
aspect of this unique position. Keepers will learn how to play their positions
in defending and attacking during soccer match situations.
