The Advantage Series of high performance, cantilevered center slitter-rewinders are used in many different applications
throughout a wide range of industries. The general purpose of these machines is to economically slit and rewind a variety
of materials that may be non-uniform in thickness or sensitive to contact pressure. The Advantage Series of slitter-rewinds
can be configured with multiple types of slitting systems; including score, shear, and razor to accommodate your diverse
applications. These slitter-rewinds can also be equipped with individual or common top riding rollers allowing for high speed
slitting and rewinding. The Dusenbery brand of converting machinery is equipped with an advanced PLC-based control
system which is designed specifically to produce the highest quality packages quickly and repeatedly.

Dusenbery® Advantage Model 835 Slitter/Rewinder
The model 835 is a fast, flexible and feature rich version of
our cantilevered duplex center slitter/rewinders. The 835
is constructed in two versions, with either 24” OD or 30”
OD rewind capability. Individual or common top riding rolls
are also available. Quick set up times, fast unloading and
numerous configuration options provide for the highest
productivity available.

Dusenbery® Advantage Model 935 Slitter/Rewinder
The Model 935 shares the same feature rich options of
the Model 835 with the addition of the pivoting top riding
roll system that allows for both contact and minimum gap
rewinding.

Dusenbery® Advantage Model 1035 Slitter/Rewinder
The Model 1035 also shares the same feature rich options of
the Model 835 & 935 with the ability to handle a maximum
width as large as 90 inches. The 1035 is equipped with
retracting center to support larger rewind diameters and
wider web widths.

Slitter/Rewinder
The Advantage Series’ 335 Duplex Turreting Center
Slitter/Rewinder’s cantilevered rewind shafts offer fast
finished roll removal and easier core placement. Its
duplex turret design with automatic transfer provides
increased productivity over the traditional cantilevered
machines. Dusenbery’s advanced control package has
been refined for over 50 years to produce exceptional
roll quality on multiple ID cores up to 32” diameter using
center wind with top riding rolls or minimum gap modes.
It has an operating speed to 2,500 FPM, plus optional
roll unloading and core locating systems. The 335 can
unwind, slit and rewind a wide range of materials utilizing
proper tension control of the material throughout the
machine.

Linear actuated roll pushers

the finished rewind packages
without repetitive physical force,
and are automatically operated
from the machine PLC. Various
core sizes can be accommodated.
Designed to unload finished rewind
packages from cantilevered rewind
mandrels, the 413 unloader rotates
manually away from the mandrels in
a vertical plane (180º total rotation)
and then automatically pivots to
the horizontal plane for ease of
unloading.
Air differential shafts allow you
to convert larger diameter rolls
at lower tensions. These shafts
produce and maintain precise
individual control over multiple
winding packages.
Lift-out capability for differential
and lock-core rewinding is an
added plus to the machine.
Available in the lower rewind
position or both positions
(requires additional motor drive),
provides maximum versatility.
