Circular Plot Structure Project
Definition:
Circular plots follow a “round” pattern—they begin and end in the same way. Like the cycle of seasons or the life
cycle, circular stories follow a predictable series of events that returns to the starting point.
Part 1:
Choose a children’s story from this list and read it (many titles have readings available on YouTube; you may
also read a hardcopy version if you own the book or want to borrow it from the Davis County Library.)
Answer the following:

As you look at the list of characters, determine whether the characters have a goal and attempt to reach the goal. Make sure to include

What is the effect of the circular plot structure on the storyline?
