PEC Maintenance
To all Fatima Families,
The PEC is working out one glitch of the new PPH Website
that pertains to generating reports of PPH
contributions. This is instrumental for the PEC PPH
coordinator to review how many PPH contributions each
family has completed during the course of the school
year. Since the PEC did have these reports at the time of the
first PPH deadline (31-Dec-16), we were unable to determine
what families were short their twenty (20) PPH
requirement. Therefore, for this deadline only (31-Dec-16),
we will not be cashing the first PPH deadline cheques for
those families that were short. Mrs. Hagedorn will keep the
cheques until the end of the second PPH deadline (31-May17). If you have any questions please feel free to email
[email protected]
Thank-you for your understanding, the PEC.
SILENCE FOR LIFE
th
On Wednesday, March 29 , Fatima hosted a Silence for Life day. During this day, students
showed their support for the unborn; the child in their mother’s womb who has no voice, and
whose life should be respected. Students raised an incredible $534.70 in support of this
important cause. All proceeds from this event will go to Life Compass, the RCAV approved pro-life
charity, which is our pro-life society.
SILENCE FOR LIFE
Almighty God, giver of all that is good,
We thank You for the precious gift of human life:
For the life in the womb,
coming from your creative power…

please contact Mme Magel at [email protected]. If you are just able to drive
there, then return to St. Helen’s School at 2:15pm to pick up students and drive them back to
Fatima, please also contact Mme Magel. We will leave school at 8am and return around
3:00pm. These jobs are also posted on the PPH website. Thank you.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
We are now taking registrations for Our Lady of Fatima Vacation Bible School (VBS) for
children ages 4-11. Forms can be picked up at the school or parish offices. VBS will run from
Monday July 17-21st from 9am-12 noon each day at Our Lady of Fatima hall and school. The
theme this year is A Wilderness Adventure through the Sacraments, Jesus in My Heart. It is
jam packed with great songs, crafts, snacks and FUN activities for children ages 4-11 to help
grow in their Catholic faith. The cost is $60 per child or $145 per family (with three or more
children), and includes a CD per family and a t-shirt per child. Get your registration in early as
space is limited and registration closes Thursday June 16.
HELPERS NEEDED
For this event to be successful we need dedicated people to help in various ways—everything
from setting up and decorating, greeting families, taking pictures, sending out email reminders to
leading a group, station or craft. If you can help in any capacity or have questions about VBS,
please email Silvia Dunbar at [email protected]. We look forward to seeing you all
there!!
