Goals of the PTSA
One parent asked, “What are the goals for the PTSA and what is its purpose?” Sara and Anne
offered the following goals:
-
Make the school welcoming for everyone.
Let every parent have a voice.
Support the arts magnet
Fund programs to our ability (the PTSA sponsors some fundraising events). Diana
Combs started the PTSA and she came up with the idea of doing a “Lion’s Appeal” to
fundraise. This year we need to do a better job of communicating about the appeal and
acknowledging contributions.
Communications:
-
Listen for the Sunday night “Robo” call from Nicole Sosik; Also sign up for an email
notification of Nicole’s message.
