She gives some suggestions for solving the riddles: 1) Use a guess and check problem solving strategy. Remember to record your guesses 2) Review and use the Table of Conversions 3) When possible, discuss your guesses, explaining why you thought specific values might work 4) Use a calculator. It’s not cheating. 5) If all else fails, look at the answers in the back of the book and work backwards to see how to get from the answers to the number. Or have a friend look at the answer and give you clues. Please use the following table of conversions chart to help you answer the riddles.
