A Night of Decadence and Debauchery at the Speakeasy
Be transported to an age of hedonism, vice, seedy glamour, basement gin joints, back-alley entrances, secret
passwords, jazz tunes, strong cocktails and “jangled morals.” Begin your evening with an al fresco dinner at
Bruno's Ristorante, where the Bruno brothers are famous for their handmade pastas and famous for their
bootlegged Italian wines. At the end of the meal, Mama Bruno herself just might pour you a taste of her
homemade grappa and whisper the secret password into your ear. This is an invitation to the hottest
underground speakeasy in town. The joint will be jumping into the wee hours, or until the cops raid the place.
Plenty of dirty details will make this a night for the history books.

of women in our society. Stories from teenage girls and provocative interviews with politicians, journalists,

by a thoughtful Q&A with producer, Steve Brown. Long-time Woodside resident, Steve is the CEO of Ignite
Channel, as well as a producer and distributor of films about arts, innovation and culture. POACHED brings
viewers inside the bizarre underworld of illegal wild bird egg collecting by following convicted egg offenders
as they evade an army of bird lovers and wildlife crime police during "Operation Easter" in Britain. With
unprecedented access to the most notorious and inconspicuous perpetrators, POACHED delves into the
psychology of obsession. As these "eggers" confront the destructiveness of their behavior toward the very
birds they profess to love, we wonder whether they can be redeemed and harnessed for good.

Syndicate Guidelines
● What is a Syndicate? Auction “syndicates” are an opportunity for groups of friends and
families to bid together on one item, thus sharing the cost of the winning bid. For example,
the Harrisons, Lennons, McCartneys and Starrs are interested in bidding on a dinner party
for four couples. They can do so by having the Lennons bid on behalf of the group. If the
Lennons are the winning bidder, they confirm with the WSF office about how to divide the
cost among the four families.
● Syndicates must have a lead bidder.
● The number of people in a syndicate may not exceed the number of people for which the
item is offered as specified in the item description.
● To bid as a syndicate, fill out a Syndicate Form, available in the catalog or on the auction
website, and return it to the WSF office or at the concierge desk in the tent. Include the
item, lead bidder, additional bidders and the number of shares each bidder wishes
to purchase.
● Syndicate Forms must be turned in by 5:00pm on Tuesday, May 23, 2017.
● The winning bidder of any item for which there is no Syndicate Form turned in by the close
of the auction will be held responsible for the full amount of the winning bid.
● Syndicates are split evenly between buyers unless we are directed otherwise.
● Bidders added to a winning syndicate after the auction will be invoiced at the same share
price as the original winning bidders in the syndicate.
Closeout Bidding
● A bidder may instantly win an item by being the first to bid on the item at the
closeout price.
● Teachers’ Treats items will be online only and will have no closeout pricing. Class Treasure
items will be in the tent and will have no closeout pricing.
● Premier Silent category items will have high closeout pricing.
