Getting Started In Lesson 4-9 you learned how to turn a percent into a
fraction and a decimal. In this lesson you will use these skills to go the other
direction and take fractions and decimals and turn them into percents.
Decimals and Percents To write a decimal as a percent, you can
multiply by 100. Note that multiplying by 100 is the same as moving the
decimal point two places to the right. Add a zero to the right if necessary
to move the decimal two places to the right.
