LAW OF BIOGENESIS “La génération spontanée est une chimère

LAW OF BIOGENESIS
In 1668, an Italian physician, named Francesco Redi, disproved the idea of
spontaneous generation.
Scientists have been researching this subject for
thousands of years and even Aristotle tried to find proof
for it, well over two thousand years ago.
In 1859 Louis Pasteur experimented with the idea of
spontaneous generation.
At last Pasteur formulated the Law of Biogenesis, as he
came to the final conclusion from his experiments that
only life can produce life.
Louis Pasteur 1822-‘95
His tests and findings have been contradicted and ridiculed, because the 'Law of
Biogenesis' does not fit the evolution thought pattern of spontaneous generation.
It is criticized because of 'advances in germ theory and cell theory'.
All these criticisms come from theories, but no scientific experiment, not one, has
proven the 'Law of Biogenesis' wrong.”
Pasteur said,
“La génération spontanée est une chimère.”
“Spontaneous generation is a fantasy.”
He was so convinced that he was right, that he stated,
“Never will the doctrine of spontaneous generation recover
from the mortal blow struck by this simple experiment.”
