From the Manager’s Desk…
On a more personal note, our housekeeper and beloved staff member, Janice
King, was recently involved in a serious car accident. She is currently in recovery.
Understandably, she will be out of the office for an unknown, extended period of
time. In the meantime, we have added a new staff member, Marsha Becker, who is
being trained to handle Janice’s daily duties. As a small and close-knit staff, this has
been challenging on many levels, and we greatly appreciate your grace and patience
at this time. We apologize if anything is not being done with the usual frequency of
cleaning, such as the hallways. Please continue to bear with us as we work through
this difficult time, personally and professionally. Janice is a treasured employee, and
an upstanding member of the community who humbly serves others. Your continued
prayers and well-wishes for her and her family are very much appreciated.
On a property note, the post office has contacted us about our URGENT mail
situation. It is important that you check your mail box every 2-3 days. The mail
carriers are sending mail back, because the mail boxes and package boxes are filled to
capacity with mail that hasn’t been picked up. With the holidays approaching, this
will become an even larger problem and incoming mail and packages will not be able
to be delivered. The mail boxes are government property, and it is ILLEGAL for junk
mail or anything else to be placed on the mailboxes. Please take ALL of your mail
and please check it frequently. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
We wish each of you a blessed holiday season with family and friends!
Review of Rules & Regulations…
Please do NOT put anything in the hallways-door mats, bikes,
etc. or we will have to remove it due to fire code and the fire
department.
Regardless of what holiday or day of the week “rent day” may fall on, rent is
always due on the 1st with a grace period expiring at 6pm on the 3rd. The drop box
is a great way to pay your rent if you are unable to pay rent directly in the office.
The drop box is secured each month at 6pm on the 3rd by a member of the office
staff (no matter what day it may be). Therefore rent received after this time will
receive an initial $50 late fee and $10/day thereafter. If you have any questions
regarding this policy, feel free to speak with someone in the office.
