Dear Parents,
We have been busy this week preparing for our World Food Day
celebrations, I hope you have received your invitation for this, we would like
to see lots of parents at school to watch the performance.
A letter was sent home yesterday telling parents how they can help. We
would love for the children to be able to try some foods from the many
countries that our students are from. If possible we would like you to send
in some traditional food from your country, so we can give it a try!
We are also trying to get the children to understand that there are some
people in the world who do not have enough food to eat. We will be
collecting money to help starving children, so we are asking for a donation
of 10 QAR for a plate of international food. If you would like to make this
donation then please send it in with your child on Sunday.
I am looking forward to seeing lots of you in school on Sunday!
Ms. Liz
