THE CONTEST OF
“THE BEST HERITAGE CRAFTS FROM SOUTH CAUCASUS”
Consortium of the Partners of the EU EPCP project “Heritage Crafts – Common Platform for
Development - Strengthening Creative Industries in Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia:” announces the
exhibition/contest “The Best Heritage Crafts from South Caucasus”.
The aim of the contest is to reveal the Market Oriented Heritage Crafts Products with Export Potential,
which at the same time maintain their links with traditions.
WHO MAY APPLY
The exhibition/contest accepts nominations from heritage crafts producers from Armenia, Azerbaijan and
Georgia. Only handmade and/or hand finished heritage crafts products are eligible. Applicants may be
individuals and/or organizations (SMEs, NGOs) working in heritage crafts sector
PRIZES
- 1st Prize – Personal participation in European Gift Fair (full package) - will be awarded to the
producer with the highest total score (one winner per country, 3 in total).

2nd prize – Presentation/Testing of winning products at the European Gift Fair
DATES AND PROCEDURE
The exhibition/contest will be held in two rounds:
- 1st round: Application based Pre-selection
The deadline for the submission of applications is July 15, 2013;
Applications forms available at country offices or can be downloaded at www.gaccgeorgia.org
Please note that the nominated product measurements (with its packaging) should not exceed
following parameters: 1, 00 m X 0,80 m X 0,50 m and 10 kilograms.
The Pre-selected candidates will be contacted by late July 2013

2nd round: Final of the competition, September 26-28, 2013, Tbilisi, Georgia.
The selected products will be displayed on the joint South Caucasus exhibition in Tbilisi, on September
26-28, 2013; the professional Jury will award most innovative and market-oriented heritage crafts
products.
