In the first half of the chessboard, there will be (232 – 1) grains of rice (4,294,967,295 grains).
So, the first square of the second half of the chessboard alone contains more rice than the entire first half
While the number of grains of rice on the first half of the chessboard is large…
…the amount on the second half of the chessboard is vastly larger (more than 4 billion times larger).
