Proceeds from the tournament support Child Life Services at Floating Hospital for Children.
At Floating Hospital for Children, we know that it takes more than medical care to make a child feel better. Having
pioneered the concept of integrating play into the daily hospital routine, our Child Life Services program makes a very
scary experience feel a whole lot better for our young patients. Child life specialists are professionals who are trained to
help children and their families understand and manage challenging life events and stressful health care experiences. Our
child life specialists work with all children to make sure they feel like kids — not just patients. Insurance does not cover
any of the costs of this essential program; your support is vital to help us provide extraordinary care and exceptional
comfort when families need it most.
