Irrigation Summer 2016 News for SRP Residential Shareholders SRP ANNOUNCES ELECTION WINNERS In April, voters in SRP elections cast ballots to fill 20 seats on the Board of Governors and Council of the Salt River Valley Water Users’ Association, which manages SRP’s water operations. Voters also cast ballots to fill 22 seats on the Board of Directors and Council of the Salt River Project Agricultural Improvement and Power District, which Did YOU know? oversees SRP’s electric operations. Robert Arnett won his race for the open position in voting district/division 9, and challengers Paul Hirt and Nick Brown won their races for seat 11 and seat 13, respectively, for District at-large Board positions. Tyler Francis won his Council seats in voting district/division 1, Allen Freeman and Mark Freeman won Council seats in voting district/division 9, and Adam Hatley won a Council seat in district 9.
