ITINERARY
Day 1
DEPARTURE FROM CANADA
Present yourself 3 hours before your flight at the airport from your departure city and register your
luggage directly to Lisbon. Flight to Lisbon. (Maximum checked baggage 23 kg per person).
Day 2
LISBON - ALGARVE
Transfer to your accommodation in Algarve, delivery of the keys and free evening. Soon, a meeting will be
scheduled with the representative in order to give you as much information about the services in the
hotel and its surroundings and talk about the optional excursions ($) available during the stay.
Accommodation: Vila Petra for the next 3 weeks.
Day 3
(21 nights Studio or one-bedroom apart stay )
STAY IN ALGARVE
Stay in the Algarve region in a studio or an apartment without meals. Optional excursions ($) will be
suggested on the spot.

ALGARVE – LISBON
This morning, transfer to Hotel Real Parque 4 * or similar in Lisbon. This afternoon, a bilingual city tour is
planned. We will discover Lisbon and its historic neighborhoods; Park Edward VII Avenue de la Liberté,
Rossio Square and Central Station. Then we will see the Belem neighborhood by the sea. The Jeronimo
Monastery and Belem Tower whose origins date back to the 16th century and protected by the Unesco
heritage. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure in Lisbon.

Today is leisure day in Lisbon. Breakfast is included at your hotel. (B)
Last day
LISBON - CANADA
After breakfast, transfer to Lisbon airport for your flight home. (B)

Canada, you will receive with your travel document, an excursion calendar. This will help you to plan

LOULÉ MARKET - € 16
A visit to this beautiful inland town to get involved with the locals at the weekly markets. Plenty of free
time to visit the Moorish castle, browse around the quaint narrow shopping streets or hustle and bustle
with the locals in the Gypsy market. This is for those who love a bargain!!!
HALF DAY TOUR CORK FACTORY & TRADITIONS - €32
A tour to discover the interior of the Algarve. Arrival at São Brás de Alportel and visit the Ethnografic
Museum that hosts a very interesting dress collection.
This private residence, from the 19th century, was owned by a rich cork merchant. The village of São Brás
is one of the main centres of the cork industry in the country. Discover the mysteries of the ancient
relationship between man and the cork oak tree. Visit a factory and learn about the techniques of
processing the cork. The tour ends with a visit to the factory shop, where you may find unique design
manufactured items made out of cork skin. Return to hotel.
FULL DAY TOUR ÉVORA WITH WINE AND OLIVE OIL TASTING - €49
A journey through the widest cork region: find the lovely charming town of Évora, World Heritage of
Unesco, a beautiful town full of tradition and history, handicrafts and gastronomy. On the way we will
stop in Reguengos in search of the sweet aromas of the “alentejano”
wine, on the Esporão Wine Estate wine and olive oil producer, blending
ancient and modern winemaking techniques, for a visit to the wine cellar
with 2 wines and 4 olive oils tasting. After we follow to Évora for lunch
at leisure, Évora is the perfect place to taste the delicious Alentejo
cuisine. A guided visit will follow (entrances fees not included): walking
tour to see the Roman Temple, the Romanesque Gothic Cathedral,
Giraldo square and St Francis Church with its unique Bones Chapel.

BOAT TOUR IN THE CAVES - € TBA
Discover the most beautiful spots of the Algarvian coast
in a boat trip, Catamaran Mara is very safe and stable
offering you the best way to explore the enchanting rock
formations caves and beaches of the Algarve.
Departing from Albufeira Marina at 14:00. We will cruise
along the coast up to the area of Galé and Benagil.
Relaxed on our confortable boat you will get the
experience of a tour alongside and inside the caves and
rock formations (weather permitting). Duration: 2h30.
FULL DAY HISTORICAL ALGARVE - € 32
A chance to visit the mountains and see some remains
of its Moorish and Roman existence. Silves (the old
Moorish Capital) castle and cathedral. Climb the
Monchique Mountains to Fóia - the highest point of
the Algarve. Free time for wine tasting and taking
spectacular photos. We will then make our way down
to the mountains to our lunch stop. After lunch (not
included), we will journey over to the beautiful town
of Lagos - indoor slave market (the first in Europe),
Saint Anthony's golden church, fort and old town.
Afterwards, we continue on to Cap Saint Vincent, the
most south-westerly point of Europe, known as "the
End of the World". Visit the strongest lighthouse in Europe, Baleeira - beautiful fishing harbour and
passing by the Fortaleza (home of Prince Henry's School of Navigation).
FULL DAY EASTERN ALGARVE - € 32
A visit to Faro, the capital of the Algarve province with its 13th century city centre. Then, we follow on to
the Moorish town of Olhão, a key town for fishing and its important fish market. Visit the attractive and
charming old town of Tavira with a 4th Century Roman Bridge and its many churches. Then on to Gilão
and Cacela Velha. Finally to Monte Gordo and Vila Real de Santo António, the border town with Spain,
separated by the generous mouth of the River Guadiana.
FULL DAY FÁTIMA - € 49
We start our tour with a visit to the village of Aljustrel (site of the
Angel's well), where the shepherd children lived and grew up (see
the site of an Apparition in Valinhos). Free time to have lunch (not
included), shop and attend mass at the Basilica or at the Chapel of
the Apparitions in the Sanctuary of Fátima.

FULL DAY SEVILLE CITY TOUR & SHOPPING - € 38
A day not to be missed in the beautiful city of Seville,
(capital of the Andalusia region). Pass by the outstanding
architecture of the 1929 Expo and the latest Expo site of
1992, the Macarena Basilica and the typical Jewish
Quarter. Stops at the Maria Luisa Park, American and
Spanish Squares. We also give you time to visit the shops,
the largest Gothic cathedral in the world and the Royal
Alcazar palaces.
FULL DAY GIBRALTAR - € 49
Driving through the Spanish Andalucia region, passing the capital
Seville, towards Jerez de la Frontera (home of the famous sherry)
passing by the cotton fields onwards through the Route of the
Bull. On arrival, 5 hours free time for shopping and optional Rock
Tour: the Little Britain of the Spanish Coastline.
HALF DAY QUATEIRA MARKET - € 16
Visit Vilamoura and it’s Gypsy market. Free time for some nice bargains

Day 1 - Early morning departure from your hotel to SEVILLE. Sightseeing tour passing by the most
important monuments: Torre del Oro, Maria Luisa Park and Plaza de España. Walk through the old streets
of Barrio de Santa Cruz, originally the Jewish quarter, the 15th century Santa Maria Cathedral and the
Reales Alcazares palaces. Time for lunch (at leisure) and departure to ALGECIRAS – dinner included and
overnight in a 3 star hotel for 2 nights.
Day 2 - Departure in the morning to Tarifa, crossing to AFRICA by ferry through the Straight of Gibraltar.
Sightseeing tour of TANGIER with lunch included. Walking guided visit to the Medina, Kasbah and Souq.
Return to Algeciras for the night.
Dinner included at the hotel.
Day 3 - Early drive to GIBRALTAR, a territory of the United Kingdom, known in the past as "Mountain of
Tarik". The Optional Gibraltar rock tour includes the visit of St. Michael’s cave. Panoramic view over the
African continent. Time for lunch (at leisure) and tax free shopping. In the afternoon, return to the
Algarve.

COOKING CLASS - € 25
Learn the Portuguese cuisine with a Chef and learn how to make the
traditional Cataplana pot (similar to a Paella). Why not make a
friendly competition out of it and taste all the other team chef
d’oeuvres! At the end, you will all seat together to enjoy this nice
lunch you’ve made with love and a lot of fun. (Wine will be served
with lunch).

Algarve Jeep Safari Full Day tour is a
voyage to discover the deepest Algarve
