Handsworth Foodbank We are delighted to say that we are donating

Handsworth Foodbank
We are delighted to say that we are donating more food to the Handsworth Foodbank for Christmas after the success of last term. Therefore, every person has a chance to eat at Christmas. We are asking for
appropriate food such as; cans of fruit and vegetables, tea and coffee,
dried food and canned meat. 1 can from each family will be generous
but if you are willing to donate more that would be fantastic. Hand the
cans to your child's teacher or at the office as soon as possible.
Road Safety
It has come to a point where we are raising awareness for Road Safety as the road outside our school has been causing lots of issues. We
would like to make you aware of road markings outside of school. Be
considerate of our neighbours and other road users and don't park in
front of their drives. Unfortunately, St Joseph's does not have a car
park however, you still need to be cautious of where you park. Therefore, do not park on the yellow zig zags or the white lines outside of our
school for the safety of your children.
National Elf Day
We are proud to inform you that our school is taking part in 'National Elf
Day' to raise money for The Children's Hospital Charity. This will take
place on Friday 16th December. We are asking for a £1 donation for
your child to come to school in an elf costume or a Christmas jumper.
We would really appreciate it if every child took part in this as it would
make a difference for the charity.
Thank you for your cooperation,
School Council
