Mrs. Brocklebank’s Test Corrections Guidelines: It is important that you understand all the material that we have covered in this course. Thus, once we have tested on a chapter and moved on to new content, you are given the opportunity to master the skills you may not have mastered on that chapter using test corrections. These are the guidelines you must follow for test corrections: Test Corrections are OPTIONAL! That’s right you do not have to do test corrections! However, if you chose to do test corrections you may receive either one or two bonus points for each problem you correct. Tests may never leave my classroom without my permission! You may work on your tests in my classroom either: o Before school o After school o During your Study Hall o In either 1st or 2nd Lunch IF you work with an LEP tutor for Math then you may ask me to give your tests to LEP and you may work during your tutoring session on your test corrections. Your tutor will then return your test to me. (Give me at least 24 hours notice so I can get the tests to your tutor) In order to receive the bonus point for any given problem you must: o Correct the whole problem – even if you only missed part of it o Show ALL work o Explain why you missed the problem when you originally took the test o Turn in your test corrections by 4:00 on the date they are due You will work out your test corrections on the corrections sheets provided. In order to help you be successful on test corrections you are allowed many resources including: o Your textbook o Your notes o Your homework o Your calculator (on calculator active portions of tests only!) o Your LEP tutor o ME! o A classmate HOWEVER: you are NOT allowed to use a classmates test! If at any point I find you using a classmates test and not being taught the information by your classmate you will BOTH lose the privilege of test corrections!
