Survivors Fund (SURF) is the principal international organisation supporting
survivors of the Rwandan genocide.
One of the primary income-generating activities for women survivors that we
help fund is the production of handmade jewellery. We have a selection
available to purchase from our office at 12 Rickett Street. 100% of the
proceeds from the sales will benefit the survivors who produce the jewellery.
The necklaces and bracelets are painstakingly threaded with coloured beads,
with carved pendants, and the earrings are made from woven materials.
They are £10 for necklaces, and £5 for bracelets and earrings. A set of
jewellery – a necklace, bracelet and pair of earrings - is £15.
