Join her for an informative talk on the many benefits of getting the flu vaccine. Knit-Wits: Open to all Gardens residents who would like to knit hats and scarves for the homeless. Catalyst for Your Cortex: Join us for this program that involves a variety of activities to engage different areas of your brain that you might not use on a daily basis. Real life stories come back to life when sharing them with someone. Reminiscing is the act of remembering, sharing, and listening. Great Decisions: “Climate Change” Join us for America’s largest discussion program on world affairs. The program model involves reading the Great Decisions Briefing Book, watching the DVD, and meeting in a discussion group led by expert Jacob Bolotin discussing the most critical global issues facing America today. 2 Banana Splits & Board Games: We will be serving up some delicious traditional Banana Splits while playing some board game favorites! 3 Giant Crossword: If you enjoy doing crosswords you will love this Giant Crossword. All are welcome to participate or listen in. 23 Nordic Museum Tour: The Nordic Museum shares culture with people of all ages and backgrounds by exhibiting art and objects, preserving collections, providing educational and cultural experiences, and serving as a community gathering place. Price: $7.00 28 Travelling Library: The King County Library will be here with their travelling library for those who would like to come down and check out books in the Living Room. Flu Vaccinations: Come to the Theatre to get your flu shot. Residents may pick up paperwork at the front desk ahead of time. Residents will be taken in on a first come first serve basis. Remember to bring your ID and Medical Card. Town Hall: This monthly meeting is designed to provide access to all departmental directors to pose questions and receive updates. Please fill out a suggestion form prior to the meeting and deposit in the suggestion box in the theatre or mail room. Novilhos Brazilian Steakhouse: The Brazilian "Churrasco" has been a tradition for generations in Southern Brazil, where Gauchos (Brazilian Cowboys) pierced large pieces of meat and slowly grilled them over open flamed pits. Novilhos is the place where friends and family gather to eat, drink and share life’s occasion! 29 Autumn Happy Hour: Good Bye summer and hello fall leaves and autumn treats! The Bonnie Birch Trio will be playing some of your favorite classic songs at this colorful Happy Hour.
