INDOOR VENUES
Broomfield Sports Hall: With the exception of the Christmas Fun Shot and subject to the
agreement of all archers on the same target a Portsmouth rounds will always be an option for
archers not wanting to take part in the other rounds.
Wirksworth Leisure Centre: These sessions are open to adult members and junior members
over 12 years old. They will be shooting sessions with a round shot and scored each week. Havea-go’s and coaching will not be available during these sessions. You can pre-book by paying for 7
sessions in advance at the cost of £35 (£5 per session). Should you not want to commit to 7
sessions the cost is £6 per session.

INDOOR ROUNDS
Portsmouth Round
Five dozen arrows (60) shot at a distance of 20 yards on a 60cm face shooting 3 arrow ends. Six
sighters are allowed before scoring commences.
Recurve bows scoring 10, 9, 8, etc. Only tens count as golds. Compound bows scoring inner 10,
9, 8, etc. Only inner tens count as golds and tens (As per normal indoor GNAS rules).
Bray I
Two and a half dozen round at a distance of 20 yards on a 40cm face shooting 3 arrow ends. Six
sighters are allowed before scoring commences.
Scoring is the same as for a Portsmouth round.
FITA 18
Five dozen arrows (60) shot at a distance of 18 meters on a 40cm face shooting 3 arrow ends. Six
sighters are allowed before scoring commences.
Scoring is the same as for a Portsmouth round.
Stafford
Six dozen arrows (72) shot at a distance of 30 meters on a standard 80cm face shooting 3 arrow
ends. Six sighters are allowed before scoring commences.
Worcester Round
Five dozen arrows (60) shot at a distance of 20 Yards shot in groups of 5 with 5 Sighter Arrows.
5 Zone scoring (5,4,3,2,1) - Maximum Score 300
4 x 16 inch target faces
arranged on the boss
The first group of two archers shoot at the higher targets(1 target each); the second group at the
lower targets. When all archers have shot 21/2 doz (30) arrows those who have been shooting at
the lower targets change to the higher targets and those who have been shooting at the higher
targets shoot at the lower targets.
A Worcester round uses a special black and white face, containing 4 black rings scoring 1 through
to 4 and the centre white scoring 5.
