The instructor reserves the right to amend (improve/alter) or deviate from this lesson plan

Dual Enrollment Creative Writing Class Reading: In Honor of Valentine’s Day and
February, The Month of Love
*Students must read all three of their selections (a story and two poems). If a student
completed “The Ballad of Saide LaBabe” by Tim Seibles for Extra Credit, he/she can
read that poem for extra credit as well.
Creative Writing Assignment #1: “John finally kissed her. He waited on the step.
Mary turned to watch him leave.”
