I have enough money for either popcorn or juice. The Interjection 12e. An interjection is a word that expresses emotion. An interjection has no grammatical relation to the rest of the sentence. Often, an interjection is followed by an exclamation point. EXAMPLES Aha! I knew you were hiding there. Oops! I punched in the wrong numbers. Is that a wasp? Ouch !
