When Santa Claus Gets Your Letter
(1st Boys)
On the third day of Christmas we wrote to Santa Claus:
Christmas comes but once a year, with presents ‘round the tree.
When you write to Santa Claus, take this tip from me.
When Santa Claus gets your letter you know what he will say,
“Have you been good, the way you should, on ev’ry single day?”
When Santa Claus gets your letter, to ask for Christmas toys,
he’ll take a look, in his good book, he keeps for girls and boys.
Dear Santa. I have been very good this year, except for that unfortunate
incident with the tack on Susie’s chair.
Dear Santa. Surely you wouldn’t hold it against me that I broke a relatively
thin baseball bat over Johnny’s head…since he had it coming anyway!
He’ll stroke his beard, his eyes will glow and at your name he’ll peer;
it takes a little time you know, to check back one whole year!
When Santa Claus gets your letter you know what he will say,
“Have you been good, the way you should, on ev’ry single day?”
3
When Santa Claus gets your letter, to ask for Christmas toys,
he’ll take a look, in his good book, he keeps for girls and boys.
When Santa Claus gets your letter, I really do believe,
you’ll head his list
Here’s my letter!
You won’t be missed
Don’t forget my letter!
By Santa on Christmas Eve.

Let me tell you ‘bout a cool invention; it’s called a facsimile—
it can turn a bad situation ‘round, turn it ‘round with ease.—
Even tho’ I didn’t mail my Santa letter.
Sending it by FAX I think is even better.
‘Cause a FAX arrives in any kind of weather.
Yo! So listen Santa, here are the facts.
I’m gonna FAX FAX the facts,
FAX the facts to Santa Claus,
Yo! FAX,

Let me say that this is quite a letter, it’s important for Santa to see—
It’s taken days to narrow down the list of all the things I need.—
Santa don’t you see I’ve taken the greatest care.
There’s nothing on my list I think that I can spare.
And even tho’ my friends think I don’t have a prayer.
A miggity miggity mack, these are just the facts!
I’m gonna FAX, FAX the facts,
FAX the facts to Santa Claus,
Yo! FAX,
I’m gonna FAX the facts,
FAX the facts to Santa Claus,
FAX,

When I dial Santa’s FAX phone number,
Before you know it my letter will arrive
and follow the FAX routine.—
at the North Pole FAX machine.—
I hope I’m not the only one who sent a FAX.
NO!
This is two thousand so I guess I should relax. YO!
But I won’t receive an answer to my FAX ‘til Christmas
Christmas Christmas Christmas.
Oh, the pressure!

He Delivers
(1st Girls)
On the 5th day of Christmas, we wait for Santa Claus……
Santa’s always busy makin’ wishes come true.
And you can bet he’s gettin’ ready for you.
No matter how much he has to do he delivers! Yeah, yeah!
In any kind of weather when it rains or snows,
no matter if there’s icicles on his nose,
without a doubt you know he always shows,
He delivers yeah, yeah.
he delivers!
He delivers from his place to yours—
he doesn’t ring bells or knock on doors,
he delivers in person just because—
because he’s the best. He’s Santa Claus!
We love---Santa--Down through the chimney in the middle of the night
One, two three and he’s clear out of sight,
and even though he’s old he does all right.
He delivers yeah, yeah he delivers
So if you hear some rattlin’ on the top of your roof
and if you hear Pluto barkin’ woof, woof, woof,
If you peek out side you will see real proof
he delivers.
He delivers yeah, yeah.
He delivers from his place to yours.
He doesn’t ring bells or knock on doors,
he delivers in person just because—
because he’s the best. He’s Santa Claus!
6
He delivers absolutely free.
He always does it so personally.
He delivers from sea to shining sea.
It’s a special delivery!
It’s not the florist or the Pizza Man.
It’s not the plumber or a telegram.
It’s not even the Handyman.
We hope by now you understand!
He delivers from his place to yours.
He doesn’t ring bells or knock on doors.
He delivers in person just because,
because he’s the best. He’s Santa Claus!
He delivers absolutely free.
He always does it so personally.
He delivers from sea to shining sea.
It’s a special delivery!
He delivers from his place to yours.

Parade of the Toy Soldiers
(2nd Grade Boys)
On the ‘leventh day of Christmas we join the toy parade:
Julie: Don’t look now, Billy, but I think that that Elf just winked at me.
Billy: I’m so glad you said something, Julie…’cause I’m almost positive
that that toy soldier just gave me a genuine Cub Scout Salute!
The toyshop door is locked up tight
and ev’ry thing is quiet for the night.
When suddenly the clock strikes twelve,
the fun’s begun.
The dolls are in their best array, there going to be a wonderful parade.
Hark to the drum, oh! Here they come, cries ev’ryone!
Here them all cheering, now they are nearing
there’s the captain stiff as starch,
bayonets flashing, music is crashing,
as the wooden soldiers march;
sabres a clinking, soldiers a winking, at each pretty little maid.
Here they come! Here they come! Here they come!
Here they come! Christmas toys are on parade.
Daylight is creeping, dollies are sleeping
in the toy shop window fast;
soldiers so jolly, think of each dolly,
dreaming of the night that’s past.
When in the morning, without a warning
Toy man pulls the window shade,
there’s no sign that Christmas toys were ever out upon parade!

A Gift Of Love (all)
On the twelfth day of Christmas we give a gift of
love!!!
There’s a special gift we’re giving--at a special time of year
when friends are all around us--and Christmas day draws near.
The greatest gift is making a gift we all can share.
So open up your eyes, surprise, and look into the skies
And see a gift of love a rainbow above,
a brand new coat of colors to brighten Christmas day.
A gift of love--filled with hope and light,
a Christmas gift to share--a gift of love.
When the winter snows are falling--and carols fill the air,
you can hear the sound of sleigh bells--and there’s music ev’rywhere.
15
You can hear the joy of laughter--it’s Christmas time again.
A rainbow shines on you--and it will last the whole year through.
For it’s a gift of love, a rainbow above,
a brand new coat of colors to brighten Christmas day.
A gift of love--filled with hope and light,
a Christmas gift to share--a gift of love.
A gift of love, a rainbow above,
a brand new coat of colors to brighten Christmas day.
A gift of love--filled with hope and light.
a Christmas gift to share, a gift of love--a Christmas gift to share, a gift of love--a Christmas gift to share, a gift of love.
Gift of love---a---gift---of---love!
