Setting the Design Challenge this time is Jenna and Andrew. They’re expecting their first baby and
want an experts eye on the spare bedroom that will become the nursery. It's currently a storage
space and a dumping ground. So with 6 months to spare before the baby arrives they're calling in
the professionals.
Going head to head is our designer extraordinaire, James Treble, and the challenger, Romy
Alwill. They’ve faced off once before and Romy came off second best. And this time neither is
going down without a fight. Our couple has no idea what they want, but they know what they don't
like... colour, trendy things, and themes! But there's one design clue that's blatantly evident...Brit
Jenna is obsessed with al things English and Royal. Which designer will read the clues and get
the design right?

GUEST PRESENTER BIO – JAMES TREBLE
James Treble owns and operates ‘Trebel Studios’ which provides interior
and exterior design services to the residential building and renovating
market. With over twenty years experience in varying roles within the
building industry, he combines his years of experience, as well as his
design and colour knowledge, to assist and guide his clients during the
finishes selection and home design process. James joined ‘The Living
Room’ in 2012 allowing him to explore further his field of interior design
through the design challenges which our very own Barry Du Bois threw at
him. This has provided James with a platform to design under tighter
budgets and time frames than he is used to, as well as allowing him to
follow his personal passion of reusing and redesigning old and existing
pieces of furniture and art pieces to create new, beautiful yet functional
living spaces.

GUEST PRESENTER BIO – ROMY ALWILL
Romy graduated from the University Of New South
Wales with a bachelor of interior architecture (hons)
in 2000. After a stint overseas she took on the
position of interior design editor for the prestigious
Belle magazine, which she held for 5 years both
writing and styling. Moving on, she took up the
opportunity to establish and run the NSW division of
Coco Republic Interior Design. The division quickly
became a successful part of the company's portfolio
and brand. In 2008 combing forces of Architecture
and Interiors with her sister they established their company Alwill specializing in interior design,
furniture + creative direction for domestic + boutique commercial applications.
