HALAL TOUR – Sarajevo and surroundings
Day 1: Arrival Sarajevo
Meeting with our tour escort at the airport and transfer to a
halal hotel in Sarajevo. Overnight in Sarajevo.
Day 2: Sarajevo
After breakfast sightseeing of Sarajevo, the capital city of
Bosnia & Herzegovina, a true crossroads of cultures, religions,
architecture styles and diverse people. Lunch in a halal
restaurant in Sarajevo. Afternoon is at leisure. Dinner and
overnight in one of the halal hotels in Sarajevo.
Day 3: Sarajevo – Počitelj – Mostar – Sarajevo
After breakfast bus ride to Počitelj, Bosnia & Hercegovina. In 1471
this town was conquered by the Ottomans, and remained within
the Ottoman Empire until 1878. Short ride to Mostar. Lunch in
one of the halal restaurants in Mostar. Sightseeing of the historic
town of Mostar, a UNESCO site. The highlight is the famous Old
Bridge from the 16th century. Transfer to Sarajevo. Dinner and
overnight in one of the halal hotels in Sarajevo.
Day 4: Sarajevo
The entire day is at leisure for you to explore the fascinating
Sarajevo on your own. Overnight in Sarajevo.
Day 5: Sarajevo - departure
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the departure flight.
• The itinerary and its daily time schedule are done in a way
that they fit to the schedule of daily prayers: early morning
prayer in hotel rooms of halal hotels, and all other 4 prayers
either in the local mosques or hotel rooms of our halal hotels.
• Chosen hotel in Sarajevo (4*City Boutique Hotel) is certified
halal hotels. Hotel serves halal meals within buffet breakfast.
Dinner (halal menu) is usually served.
• Lunch can be arranged for every single day – in halal
restaurants in Sarajevo (for example certified halal restaurant
Pod lipom). In Mostar there are up to now no official certified
halal restaurants, but there are restaurants preparing food
according to halal standards.
