Place Value Game 2 - CDNIS Community Sites

Goal : Player with the largest number at the end
wins!
What you need:
1 instruction sheet for each player
1 set of playing cards to share (no 10’s, jacks, queens, kings,
Aces)
Pencils (to write down numbers)
How to Play:
1. Each player takes an instruction sheet with a place value table
on it.
2. A player takes a turn to pull a card out from the stack.
3. That player decides where on the top row of their place value
table he/she wants to write the number down. He/ she writes that
number down in the column chosen. The player must finish their
largest number first before moving on to the smallest number
row.

4. Next player takes a turn and follows steps 2 to 3. Game
continues until each player has filled up his/her place value
table.
5. Subtract the smallest number from the highest number
and compare the final numbers. The person with the largest
number wins !!
** Special tip : think carefully about your math strategy
before placing each number !
