All garments should therefore be suitable for machine-washing and tumble-drying. A washing machine is available for boarders use for personal items if they wish. • There is a Nearly New Shop located at the school where good quality items that have been outgrown may be purchased. The Mathematics department recommend a scientific specification calculator (e.g. the Casio FX83ES) for the Fourth Form, Lower Fifth and Upper Fifth. Specialised graphical calculator is required by Sixth Form mathematicians; these should be purchased through the School at the start of the Lower Sixth. All pupils in the Fourth Form, Lower Fifth, Upper Fifth and Sixth Forms are required to bring a notebook computer with them to all lessons. Please refer to the Bring Your Own Device Policy flyer. Extras If pupils do not arrive with the above items for their academic studies or need extra items whilst at school, supplies can be provided and added to the termly bill. Some departments also provide subject-specific items, to enhance organisation, and these will also be added to the termly bill. These items are ordered in bulk with very favourable discounts.
