Summer Vacation is probably the best time of the year for you all; it’s time for loads of ice
cream, time to visit grandparents and getting pampered to no end and of course bonding with
cousins. School is fun too; with learning happening at all times, summer vacation can also be a
time for learning with lots of activities around.
Here are few tasks for you to be completed during the vacation. Do remember to complete
the given tasks after reading them carefully. You need to bring your research work to school
on the first day of school without fail.

Have a family dinner every day of the holidays.
Play board games with your parents and sibling and show them who is the
smartest.

Visit your grandparents and relatives whom you have not seen for a few years.

Spend some quality time with an elderly person in the family or neighborhood.

Some useful tips for summer vacation
Some do’s and don’ts during summer vacation:
Do’s
 Drink lots of water.
 Carry a water bottle everywhere you go.
 Wear light cotton clothes.
 Have plenty of seasonal fruits like musk-melon, water-melon, orange, cucumber,
etc.
 Drink a glass of buttermilk every meal time.
 Discover your creativity through Research work sheets.
 Study for half an hour to one hour everyday.
 Explore various games.
 Enjoy your holiday trips.
Don’ts:
 Don’t be out of house in afternoon sun.
 Don’t have junk food.
 Don’t watch too much TV.
 Don’t waste time in being lazy.
 Don’t dirty your place of living.

Task 4 A: II Language (Telugu) - Create your scrap book which mentions the precautions
you can take to avoid a sun stroke. Write in Telugu and paste related pictures.
Task 4 B: II Language (Hindi) - Design an advertisement in Hindi on a healthy product
which is also a component of a balanced diet(Paste suitable pictures)
Task 4 C: II Language (French) - Make a booklet of verb conjugations.
Criteria: Conugate the verbs – Manger, Choisir, gouter, diner, déjeuner, prendre, jouer,
ausculter, faire, être, avoir, aller, rester, aider, utiliser, parler, marcher.
Maintain neatness. Conjugate correctly, avoid spelling mistakes.
Task 5: ICT Integration- We know that computer gets sick due to virus. Do a Google search
and paste the pictures of five viruses and write 5 points how is it harmful to computer in Msword.

The Thomson family has been trying to eat healthy meals
for a very long time, but found it difficult to keep it up.
Mr and Mrs Thomson work long hours at the hospital, and
feel exhausted when they arrive home. They also have
three young children who needed a lot of care. David is

one. It is difficult for the family to cook healthy meals every day. For months, Mrs Thomson
