FACILITY:
Jenks Trojan Aquatic Center - 50 meter x 25 yard (8 lanes, 9 foot width) pool, with minimum depth
of 7 feet (measured at 1m and 5m from start and turn walls) and maximum depth of 8 feet (middle). 6
inch diameter Anti no-turbulence lane ropes. Deck-level overflow gutters with raised parapet at start
and turn ends. Medium Pressure UV sanitation. Evacuator Air-handling system. Spectrum starting
platforms with adjustable Track Start footrest. Daktronics timing system (Omnisport 2000) with
touchpads at start and turn ends; 2 8-lane alpha-numeric multi-color LED scoreboards. Additional 6lane (7 foot lane width) 25 meter warm-up pool with starting blocks; depths range from 3.5 to 12 feet.

USA Swimming rules require that all athletes during warm-ups must be closely supervised
by a certified USA Swimming coach or team representative.
RULES:
This meet is governed under the 2014-15 USA Swimming Rule Book and Oklahoma Swimming Rules.
ENTRY FEES:
$5 for each individual event ($2 goes to OKS Aquatic Fund)
$10.00 for each relay event ($2 goes to OKS Aquatic Fund)
$10.00 “deck entry” fee for individual events; $20 “deck entry” fee for relay events ($2goes to OKS
Aquatic Fund).
$10 surcharge per swimmer.

ENTRY DEADLINE:
Please indicate your intent to participate EARLY as this meet will be limited. Entries are accepted on
first come basis and entry file is required to reserve spot in the meet. All meet entries are due by
Thursday, May 7th 2015 at 11:59 pm CDT. Any entries received after this deadline will not be
accepted. Deck entries will be accepted to fill empty lanes of first heats or scratches ONLY, and the fee
is double and payable at time of entry. This includes ANY changes from one event to another during
the meet.
DECK ENTRIES:
Deck entries will only be accepted on the day of the event requested, and ONLY FOR SWIMMERS
ALREADY ENTERED IN THE MEET. NO ADDITIONAL SWIMMERS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER
INITIAL ENTRY DEADLINE IS PAST. Day-of-event deck entries will be accepted at the discretion of the
Meet Director and only to fill empty lanes; the fee is double and payable at time of entry (see above
fees). NO NEW HEATS WILL BE CREATED, AND NO EVENTS WILL BE RE-SEEDED. Deck entries
will be accepted from the start of warm-up until 30 minutes after the start of warm-up. This includes
ANY changes from one event to another during the meet. No relay deck entries. Deck entries count
against meet entry and daily entry totals.
ENTRIES:
Each swimmer may enter a maximum of three (3) individual events and one (1) relay each day. Deck
Entries and Scratches count against this limit. Please submit your entries via email to George
Villarreal at [email protected] using TeamUnify, Team Manager (TM), or other appropriate sdif
file. Any hand written or printed entries must indicate the swimmer’s full name, sex age, date of birth,
USA-S registration#, the event #, and time for each event. All entry files must include the name of the
Club entry chair, phone number and email contact information. It is strongly recommended that
electronic files be submitted.
QUALIFYING TIMES:
Qualifying times have been set on all events 400 meters and longer. Swimmers that do not meet these
qualifying times may not enter these events. See Order of Events for Qualifying Times.
REGISTRATION:
The meet is open to invited USA Swimming-registered swimmers. Swimmer’s age as of May 15, 2015,
determines age for the meet. Any swimmer entered in the meet must be certified by a USA-Swimming
member coach as being proficient in performing a racing start or must start each race from within the
water. When unaccompanied by a member-coach, it is the responsibility of the swimmer or the
swimmer's legal guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement.
The Meet Director will initiate a registration recon report to the OKS Registration Chair within 5-6
days prior to the event. The report will list all registration errors for athletes entered in the meet. The
Meet Director will notify the attending clubs or unattached athletes of these errors. The notification of
error must be corrected or reconciled before the start of the first session in which they are listed to
swim or the athlete will not be allowed to swim. The Meet Referee and Meet Director will work with the
cooperation of the Registration Chair to enforce and follow up on the swimmers noted in the
registration report.
FORMAT:
Meet will be Pre-Seeded in accordance with USA Swimming rules for timed finals except the 1500 free.
Swimmers MUST complete a positive check-in for the 1500 meter free 30 minutes prior to the
beginning of Friday’s Meet Start Time (5:30pm); swimmers will be deck-seeded. If meet management
deems necessary the 1500 free and 400 free will be swum 2 to a lane as a mixed event. Swimmers
failing to swim after completing positive check-in will be disqualified from their next events. Please
submit Long Course seed times only.
Scratches should be submitted to the Clerk of Course and will count against entry limits. Entry fees
will not be refunded to swimmers who scratch.

All Friday events will be fastest to slowest for seeding; last heats may be combined by gender.
Senior events on Saturday and Sunday will be seeded slow to fast.
**12&Under 200 Free & 200 IM may be limited at meet management discretion
SCORING:
Top 16 places will be scored for individual events (20-17-16-15-14-13-12-11-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1).
Senior events will be awarded as 10 & Under, 11-12, 13-14 and 15 & Over.
All 12 & Under events will be awarded as 8 & U, 9-10, 11-12.
AWARDS:
Ribbons will be presented for 1st through 8th place for individual events.
High Point Awards will be presented to first place in each age group: 8&U, 9-10, 11-12, 1314, 15&O.
All Participants will receive a commemorative gift.
FACILITY CERTIFICATION:
The course has been certified in accordance with 104.2.2C(4). The Copy of such certification is on file
with USA-Swimming.
RULES REGARDING USE CELL PHONES OR CAMERAS AT OKS SANCTIONED MEETS:
The use of equipment capable of taking pictures (e.g. cameras, cell phones, PDA’s, etc) will be banned
behind the starting blocks during all meets sanctioned by OKS. Use of these devices will not be
permitted behind starting blocks during warm-up or competition. USA-S Rule 202.3.4.E states that
no recording devices, including cell phones, can be used in locker rooms, changing areas or rest
rooms.
Spectators will not be permitted to watch the meet or take pictures/video from the lobby area
on the North end of the pool. Marshals will limit access to the area: spectators are required to
comply with this rule.
TIMING ASSIGNMENTS
Timers, supplied by JTSC, will report 30 minutes prior to the start of each session. Swimmers in
the1500m free will provide their own timers and counters.
LIABILITY:
It is understood and agreed that USA Swimming shall be free from any liabilities or claims for damages
arising by reason of injuries to anyone during the conduct of the event. Additionally, it is understood
that Jenks Public School District (JPS) and JPS personnel, Jenks Trojan Swim Club (host), officials,
and coaches shall be free from any liabilities or claims for damages arising by reason of injuries to
anyone during conduct of the meet.
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:
The Jenks Trojan Aquatic Center is located on Jenks Public Schools property. Jenks Public Schools is
a Tobacco-Free Zone. The use of tobacco products is strictly prohibited in all areas of Jenks Public
Schools property, including parking lots, walkways, and outdoor areas. The possession of weapons or
firearms upon a person or in a vehicle on JPS property is a felony offense.
CONCESSIONS:
The Concession Stand behind the balcony seating will be in service starting during warm-up.

Printed results will be posted on the pool deck on near the competition course, as well as near the
concession stand.

DECK CHANGING RULES:
Except where venue facilities require otherwise, changing into or out of swimsuits other than in locker
rooms or other designated areas is not appropriate and is prohibited.
RESULTS:
In accordance with OKS guidelines, complete final results will be posted on the OKS website
(www.oks.org). Complete Team Manager Results and PDF files can be downloaded at the host website
Complete Meet event results will be sent electronically to each team’s representative within 24 hours
after the conclusion of the meet via email. A TM Result to SWIMS file will be sent electronically to the
OKS SWIMS Chair within 24 hours. Complete Meet events results will be sent electronically to each
team’s entry contact [as outline in entry file for that club] and unattached athlete’s parent or guardian.
Results files will include a results file for Team Manager, a complete results file [including relay] in
publication format and pdf. format. The host will furnish a read only MM BKUP of the meet to each
attending club
SPECIAL MESSAGE TO COACHES REGARDING POOL USAGE:
It is suggested that coaches strongly encourage swimmers to observe pool usage etiquette, including
the prohibition of urination in pools. Coaches should strongly encourage swimmers to shower before
entering the pools. Coaches, officials, volunteers and swimmers are also encouraged to wear only “ondeck” footwear to maintain a sterile pool deck (street shoes should be removed before entry onto pool
deck).
SPECIAL MESSAGE RELATED TO SEVERE/EXTREME WEATHER EVENTS:
In the event of severe weather events, a shelter and evacuation plan will be distributed and
announced. Swimmers, coaches, spectators and officials are strongly discouraged from leaving the
building in the event of severe weather. Shelters will be available within the building. Meet
Management and JPS personnel will monitor weather conditions and create appropriate response. If
conditions warrant, the meet will be cancelled.
