in following the correct bin placement
procedure would be appreciated.

opening facing the road by 5.30am on
the day of collection or the evening prior.
• Please, wherever possible avoid low
power lines, overhanging trees and
other obstructions.
For Units & Townhouses
• Please group bins as illustrated
where possible.

Q: Who owns the recycling bin?
A:The bins always remain the property
of Solo Resource Recovery.
Myth: Plastic bags are removed during
the sorting process.
WRONG – Items in plastic bags are
removed as contamination during
the sorting process and all enclosed
recyclables are lost to landfill.
Q:What happens if my recycling bin
is damaged?
A:Call the Recycling Hotline for prompt
repair or replacement.
Myth: No one checks the contents of
the bin before collection.
