Morning: Art to Heart
In this session, participants will acquire strategies for creating an
environment that encourages children to explore the world around them
using the arts. Art to Heart activities help participants incorporate fun,
hands-on learning into the daily schedule using a multi-sensory approach
to learning.

Afternoon: Low Cost/No Cost Literacy Extension Materials
for Early Childhood
Are you interested in making your money stretch further when it comes
to classroom materials? This training will help you learn to create literacy
extension materials for your program, support language and literacy
development, and discover new ways to get children excited about books!

Early Childhood Council.
Creating developmentally appropriate environments and interactions with
each child within the classroom can affect behavior. This workshop will
focus on the reasons for inappropriate behavior and tips will be shared
about how best to encourage age-appropriate behaviors.
