What to Wear?
It’s time to dress and accessorize! Use the re-positional
sticky dots to adhere the Shrinky Dinks fashions to your
dolls. Select your favorite outfits and then layer on the hair,
hats and purses. For best results, stick the dot to the doll
rather than the shrinky dink. Note, the dolls can bend.
Work gently when changing their clothes and accessories.
Once they are dressed, slide the dolls into the foam stands
and place them in and around the shop.
This pet friendly boutique welcomes furry friends. Tie a
ribbon leash to a cute pooch. Place the other end of the
leash on the dolls hand using a sticky dot. Now they can
enjoy shopping together.
Display the extra clothes and accessories on the vanity,
inside the wardrobe, on the mannequins, and in the
windows of your boutique using the double-sided
sticky foam.
To mix and match the accessories, carefully peel the Shrinky
Dinks off of one doll and add it to another. Save the extra
sticky dots to use on the dolls and accessories as needed.
Now it’s time to play and pretend. Do a little window
shopping or stop by the boutique to try on some clothes,
- you’ll have a fabulous, fun time!
Your playscape is made from cardboard. Treat it with care
and it will last a long time. When removing the Shrinky
Dinks, some color may pull away onto the adhesive,
making it less sticky. Save any leftover adhesive for
touch ups and repairs.

Coloring your Shrinky Dinks
Note – the Shrinky Dinks have a smooth and a rough side. Using the colored
pencils included, color on the rough side only. If the pencils become dull, use
the handy pencil sharpener as needed.

Time to Shrink, shrink, shrink
Now you are ready to bake the ®Shrinky Dinks in a toaster oven or a conventional oven. Follow the
directions below carefully. Let them dance, curl, flip, shrink and flatten. If you remove them too
soon, your Shrinky Dinks won’t shrink! Place them back in the oven until the shrinking
process is complete.
Warning – Safety first. ADULT SUPERVISION is required when baking Shrinky Dinks.
• Preheat the oven to 350° (175° C). Do not use the microwave.
• Cover your baking tray with non-stick aluminum foil. For best results do not use an air insulated
cookie sheet. Place your Shrinky Dinks on the tray with the colored side facing up. Be sure they
are at least 3 inches from each other.
• Bake for 1 to 3 minutes. Watch closely, baking times may vary depending on your oven. The
Shrinky Dinks will begin to curl, move about and flatten. Do not remove them until they are flat!
4. Carefully attach the wardrobe
and vanity to your boutique
using the double-sided sticky
foam. Then place the star stickers
wherever you like.
5. Fold the bottom up
pressing firmly along the fold.
This will help your playscape
stand straight.
6. Pull the bottom back down
and fold the sides in, creasing
firmly. Be careful to crease only
along the edges so as not to
damage the wardrobe and vanity.
• Keep the tray in the oven for about 20 more seconds, and then ask an adult to remove them
and place them on a heat proof surface.
• Allow the Shrinky Dinks to cool on the tray for 10 minutes. When they are cool enough to
touch, use a spatula to lift them off.

8. Take the purple platform pieces. Fold them along the creases as shown.
Remember to press firmly.

11. Use the double-sided sticky
foam to attach the dainty seats.
Place them wherever you like.
Your plush boutique is now
