Musical Theatre Application Checklist
1. Submit Online Application- www.santafeuniversity.edu APPLY NOW
2. $50 non-refundable fee- fee can be waived by visiting campus or emailing your
ACT/SAT scores to your enrollment advisor.
3. Transcript- can be unofficial through application process. Officials are needed after
you graduate. Please email your unofficial transcript to your enrollment advisor.
4. Personal Statemento Please upload the finished essay into Slideroom.
5. Headshot- Upload into Slideroom.
6. Theatre Resume- Upload into Slideroom.
7. Audition- Audition on campus or at one of our visiting locations during our SFUAD
Audition Circuit.
Monologue & Song Guidelines:
o 1 Contemporary Monologue & a 32 Bar selection from a musical
theatre repertoire song.
1 ½ -2 minutes each, song must have instrumental or accompaniment
o Must be memorized from published plays and or musicals.
Can’t audition live? Submit a video.

Guidelines for Video Audition:
Full body must be in video.
Audition must be done in 1 continuous take.
Shoot video in an appropriate non-distracting location.
8. FAFSA- FAFSA or FAFSA Waiver must be completed in order to be reviewed for
Financial Aid. See link below for information on when FAFSA opens.
