path at edge of woods for those
who don’t want to get their feet
wet! Caution is also required on
the narrow clifftop path to Park

‘White Creek’ and rejoin coast
path just north of Arnside Point.

Just past Lindeth Tower,
LCW diverts inland R along
Hollins Lane. Follow lane then
take footpath L after 180m into
NT woodland. Take R-hand path
and in clearing, follow sign for
‘Silverdale Green via the Chase’.
Footpath opens onto road. Turn
R and continue 180m then take
road L for 180m, then take
track signed ‘Burton Well’.

Continue past well into
Lamberts Meadow, heading R
over footbridge and into
woodland again. Climb steeply
up steps before path levels out
then meets road. Turn R for
140m along road then take
footpath L across golf course
and R back to station via stile
next to gate by greenkeeper’s
shed.

footpath that heads off R when
road bends round to L. Follow
path down to estuary and head
L along coast path. On very high
spring tides, this section can be
impassable, so head through
town to pick up coast path
further W – just beyond creek at
New Barns.
