7th edition pages 222-223, Pollock-4045(?). The present example
struck from fibrous reddish-brown plastic or fiber, darker flecks
and slightly mottled appearance as such. Nearly as struck yet not
fully struck up on the obverse. This the very unusual Colombia
style Pattern and worthy of a strong bid as this particular composition is seldom available. Very rare indeed and a great opportunity for the specialist.

Mexico 8 Reales of 1862. Ornately engraved Mexico 8 Reales,
1862-ZsVL obverse detailing 1st Lt Alonzo E. Cheney, Co. H,
20th Regiment, Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry and his exploits in
battle - all noted on the coin in lovely style and cursive lettering.
An amazing history of one soldier’s survival through years of
Civil War. Cheney enlisted Aug 13, 1862 as a Corporal, was promoted to 1st Lt June 15, 1863 and M.O. at Galveston, TX July 14,
1865. He saw action at Prairie Grove, AR 12/7/1862; Van Buren,
AR 12/28/1862; Vicksburg, MS 6/10/1863; Yazoo City, MS May
1864; Fort Morgan, AL in August 1864 and Spanish Fort, AL
from March to April 1865 with each listed in the surrounding
legend on the coin. Host coin toned Good, holed for suspension,
engraving VF-EF and fully legible, clearly a worn and cherished

Apollo 7 Flown Silver Robbins Medallion From Commander Wally Schirra’s personal collection. Apollo 7 Flown Silver
Robbins Medallion Originally from the Personal Collection of
Mission Commander Wally Schirra, Serial Number 121, with
Signed LOA. Sterling Silver, 32mmx24mm. One of only 255
flown aboard Apollo 7, the first manned mission in the Apollo
program, October 11-22, 1968, with crewmembers Wally Schirra, Donn Eisele and Walt Cunningham. It was an eleven day
Earth-orbital mission, the first manned launch of the Saturn IB
launch vehicle and the first three-man American space mission.
The medal features the mission insignia depicting a command
service module, engine firing with the trail from that fire encircling a globe and extending out, symbolizing the Earth-orbital
nature of the mission. The Roman numeral “VII” appears in the
South Pacific Ocean and the crew’s names appears on a wide arc
at the bottom. The reverse has the date of the mission launch, the
serial number and the sterling and Robbins hallmarks. Choice
Unc with lt golden toning. Included with this lot is an original
signed LOA from Walter Schirra III stating, “I hereby certify that
the Apollo 7 silver medallion numbered “121” depicted above
and included with this letters is from the personal collection of
my father Walter M. Schirra, Jr. and was flown aboard Apollo 7,

70x200mm green glass Beer & Ale bottle and the original cork
also recovered from the wreck. Complete with all COA’s and
