LOS IDOLOS COLUMBIAN RELATIONSHIP COFFEE
Background:
Near “El Alto de Los Idolos” these coffee growers had a desire of
obtaining a higher income through the sale of high-quality coffee,
therefore choosing the name Los Idolos because of its symbolism and
as a way of honouring the region’s origins.
Processing:
Washed Arabica, semi shade grown, sun dried
Flavour notes:
Low - Medium acidity with orange & mandarin notes,
followed by an intense toffee and caramel finish
Drink options:
Espresso – Rich complexity of the orange, mandarin and hint of caramel, smooth silky mouth-feel
Milk: Pleasant drinking cup with richness of toffee and caramel accentuated. Sublime combination!
KENYAN KIAMABARA PEABERRY(MICROLOT)
Background:
The society is located in Nyeri Central district about 190km North of
Nairobi, near the Aberdare forest/National Park, further overlooking the famous Elephant migration route that connects Aberdare &
Mount Kenya Forest.
Processing:
Wet mill pulping, natural fermentation and sun drying on tables
Flavour notes:
Good complexity, berries, dark chocolate, caramel finish

Espresso - Bright & fruity flavours coming through
Milk drink : more dark chocolate & caramel flavours appear
FINCA CEYLAN, GUATEMALA ORGANIC
Background:
Finca Ceylan has been a property of the Echeverria family since 1870,
producing and processing coffee. The farm has contributed houses,
drinkable water and education to its
employees and their children. The coffee residues from the wet mill
are used as an organic fertilizer in the coffee plantation, creating a
self-sufficient system. The water used in the wet mill process is filtered
through oxidation tanks to avoid
contamination in river basins. The farm has a natural forest which has
been protected to conserve the different
species of trees, plants and animals.

Smooth, but Full Body.
