Telephone Doctor

Location: Embassy Suites
204 Centreport Drive, Greensboro
Workshop Time: 8:00 - 10:00 am

You hear it over and over… customer service is just plain
old common sense, isn’t it? Well if it were, there wouldn’t
be so much talk about it! In this program, Nancy goes
over the subtle differences between what’s right and
what’s not; what’s common and what’s uncommon; and
the words and actions that frustrate the customer, no
matter what industry. If you’ve ever been irritated by a
service situation and thought, “a little common sense
would fix this,” then this program is perfect for you and
your staff. Attend this laugh-out-loud funny workshop,
where you will learn “common sense” ideas and
techniques and how to apply them to your business!
Nancy Friedman—a popular and sought-after speaker,
as well as a long-time GMA favorite—has helped
hundreds of organizations with her powerful message
and real-world takeaways. Audiences walk away with
tips, ideas, skills, and techniques they can use
immediately and forever.

By now, you’ve probably heard about the proposed
changes to the Department of Labor’s overtime rules.
Many salaried employees who were once exempt from
overtime pay will no longer qualify for the exemption.
What impact will these changes have on your
organization and your team? What do you need to do
now to get prepared? Attend this session to learn some
workforce management strategies that will keep your
company in compliance with the law while keeping your
staff motivated and engaged. You’ll also learn about
some of the most common errors in wage and hour
management and how to correct any mistakes without
disrupting your business operations.
