How it works
Drivers pull into one of Parking Vault’s™ six in-bound transfer rooms. They remove their belongings, lock
their cars and step into the kiosk room. Here, they answer important questions, get a unique identifier for
the vehicle, and then are done and can leave the parking facility. The system then takes over as the car is
grasped by the tires and lifted a mere quarter inch by the “mule.” Parking Vault’s™ exclusive technology
then simultaneously rotates, lifts and moves the vehicle vertically to the appropriately sized parking shelf.

THE DRIVER EXPERIENCE
� From the Parking Vault™ driveway, an automated
communication system indicates which bay to enter.
� The driver and all passengers exit the vehicle,
retrieving any items they wish to take and securing the
car. They enter the transfer room where the driver uses
the kiosk to retrieve a unique identifier for their car—
whether it be a parking ticket or other device.
� People then can go where they want to go quickly,
easily and without having to worry about their cars.

� Drivers enter the retrieval lobby and scan their
vehicle identifier.
� A delivery time appears on the screen so the driver
knows when the car will arrive and in which transfer
room it will be delivered. If there is no one in line
ahead of them, the car should be delivered within
34 seconds.
� The driver enters the transfer room and with the car
forward facing, drives out of the Parking Vault™.
