MEMBERSHIP COMMENTS
1.
The membership fee covers one year from the date of joining.
2.
Concession available to families with a Health Care Card or Victorian Public Transport Student Concession Card.
3.
All children must be listed so that they are covered by insurance.
4.
Our insurance policy requires us to advise our members that all children must use helmets while riding toy library balance bikes or
scooters. It is the member’s responsibility to provide their own helmet and ensure it is worn during use.
5.
Photo ID (e.g. Driver’s Licence) is required as proof of identification. A residential address (not post office box) is required.

CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHIP (SUMMARY)
The conditions under which you apply for membership of Moreland Toy Library Inc. are outlined in the Moreland Toy Library
Inc. Rules of Association, and in the policies and procedures of the Moreland Toy Library. These are available at the Toy
Library during opening hours and from www.morelandtoylibrary.org.au. A summary is below:
1.
Membership is not transferrable. A full refund is available if membership is cancelled within one month of joining; no refunds after this.
2.
A 3-Toy Membership may be upgraded to a 6-Toy Membership at anytime provided the difference in membership fee is paid. There is
no refund of the difference in membership fee if a 6-Toy Membership is downgraded to a 3-Toy Membership.
3.
Toys are loaned for two weeks. Toys that are returned late will incur an overdue fine. Toys must be returned intact and clean. Toys
returned with a missing piece(s) will incur a missing pieces fine (refundable for pieces that are subsequently returned).
4.
Members are required to contribute to the operation of the toy library by completing voluntary service twice per year as a Duty Officer
during borrowing sessions. Members must register for at least one duty at one duty at the time of joining/renewing. If an alternative to
rostered duty is required, this must be negotiated with the Committee prior to joining.
