Scenario
You are a member of Workshop FBH Church. Our District President
will be at your church for her Official Visit of the convention year on
May 1, 2017. The Sisters of Charity Convention will convene at
Headquarters May 17 – 21, 2017.
Your pastor, Rev. Works Real Hard, has asked you to work with the
secretary of the Mission department to gather the necessary
information to complete the blank for the Sisters of Charity Convention
and compile the mission report for the District President that
summarizes all the work completed by the Mission Department this
year.
Rev. Works Real Hard and the president of the Mission, Sister Does
Alot, will review the completed blank and mission work report at a
meeting on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.
You and the Mission Secretary should locate and review the following:
last year’s completed Sisters of Charity Convention blank, last year’s
Mission Work Report, and the current Mission Activity log. Also, read
the Assembly Guidelines for completing the Sisters of Charity blank.
Use the transactions listed in the Mission ledger and Mission
Convention Treasure ledger for the reporting year to help complete the
Blank. The report year is from May 2016 to April, 2017.
Use the current Mission Activity Log to compile the 2017Mission Work
Report. The Mission Work Report will summarize the activities and
projects completed by your Mission Department. Be sure to highlight
special activities/events in this report. See the 2016 Mission Work
Report for an example.
