The Delaware Reenactment Pictures from Summer 2014 In a typical brother vs. brother struggle, Corporal Leon Skinner of the 144th NY captures a Georgia battle-flag from fallen sibling, Michael Skinner of the 47th Georgia. Members of the 144th New York march forward during the Battle of Honey Hill. Members of the famous 54th Massachusetts fire a volley before charging a heavily defended Confederate entrenchment. Captain Ray Morgan, portraying Colonel Gurney of the 127th NY raises his hat on his sword before being severely wounded during the Battle of Devaux’s Neck. Located on the site of the historic Frisbee farm you can see the original barns, Frisbee family cemetery and outbuildings, as well as numerous nineteenth-century buildings from throughout the county that have been moved to the site, including: blacksmith shop, one-room school house, nineteenth-century gun shop, and turnpike tollgate house, a well as two exhibit galleries, research library and archives, gift/book shop, nature trail and much more.
