possible, a cold press watercolour paper surface. Watercolour paper is sized,
allowing pigment to remain on top of the surface rather than soaking in - and this is

Jamie-Lou Nicol - Holbein Artists’ Watercolours & Mediums
This demo will introduce Holbein Artist Watercolour and Mediums. Holbein watercolours are
made and imported from Japan, a country known for having the oldest professional
watercolour traditions in the world. Holbein laboratories have produced an extensive palette
of 108 highly concentrated colours which are known for their world class standards in
lightfastness and providing brilliant characteristics over an extended period of time.
Attendees will gain an understanding of how Holbein's watercolours work on their own as
well as how they perform using Holbein watercolour mediums to create interesting effects
and enhance the properties of watercolours.

Bianka Guna - Golden Artist Colors - The GOLDEN Acrylic Lecture Demo is a
fun, fast-paced informative lecture covering a technical review of acrylics and their varied
application possibilities. The lecture demo will present information on pigments, viscosities,
gels, mediums and more. Learn how acrylics can be used as grounds for other media, such
as watercolor or colored pencil; get key information on color mixing, blending and controlling
drying time; and see how gels can be used to modify paint properties or create unique
textural surfaces.
