brighter… The Winter Solstice. With a bike ride on the Wabash
Trace and a party at the Ike’s. AND LIVE MUSIC, TOO!!!
What: Wabash Trace Winter Solstice Ride & Celebration
Why: Celebrate the days are getting brighter. Benefit for the Wabash Trace Nature Trail
Date: Saturday, December 21
Time: For the free-will offering meal and Winter Solstice Party: 5:30 pm through ???
Where: Ike’s – old Izaak Walton building, about 3 miles east of Shenandoah
on the south side of Highway 2. Bike or drive, just be there!
Fun Bike Ride: Meet at the Depot Restaurant in Shenandoah at 3:30 pm. 5 miles on
the Wabash Trace to the Ike’s (no fee for the ride and the trail will be snow plowed)
Or round-trip from the Ike’s starting 2:30 pm.
While there, buy your 2014 Wabash Trace Trail Pass for $10…. For yourself or last
minute Christmas gift giving.
