Toby Transport is a private limited company formed in 2013 and has
expanded rapidly over the last three years. Starting with one tractor unit
we have now expanded to 22 units and will be looking to achieve 50
units on the road by the end of 2016. We have expanded into recovery,
commercial leasing and now added to the Toby Portfolio a full
Commercial HGV garage and test lanes to be able to deal with any
issues in house with our fleet.

All Directors are qualified Class 1 License drivers, allowing a hands on

With a combination of 22 strong fleet of adaptable Euro 5 and Euro 6

equipment and a large network of locations, seamless links into rail
and ports and with drivers trained at our drivers academy in

Toby Transport cater for full loads, part loads, as well as group-age
services when required. We have available curtain side trailers, box
trailers and we specialise in refrigerated transportation work. We
specialise in Dual temperature controlled trailers.
Our specialty is in client contract work includes RDC to stores,
container work, ad hoc jobs, one way journeys as well as return
loads and Multiple Drops. We have full access to a network of
haulage partners around the UK to assist us if required.

Toby Transport pride ourselves on our latest fleet of tractor units ranging from
MERCEDES BENZ Actros, DAF’s, M.A.N’s and IVECO’s.
Our 22 strong fleet of vehicles are fully maintained and serviced by the
manufacturers. Toby also have their own in house team of commercial specialists
within our recently opened HGV Toby House head quarters based in Manchester.
All our trailers range from 13.6m curtain sides to dual temp controlled box trailers.
Trailer sizes range from your standard 4.2m tall to 4.8 tall trailers.
Toby Transport provide a complete hire service for these types of trailers if our
clients require them. Access to 18 ton to 26 ton tail lift vehicles if required. We
can provide LWB vans for those smaller jobs as well.

All Toby Directors and Senior management are Class 1 trained and have
a hands on approach, ensuring all obligations are met regardless of the
situation arising.
Toby Transports hands on approach has allowed us to provide a flat
management approach whereby we understand our drivers and their
needs. We offer an open door policy to each of our drivers if they require
advice and assistance 24 hours, 7 days a week. All our drivers have
many years of experience in haulage and have been CRB checked to
ensure there are no issues.
